A little history
...the Kurucs did not stop here either and terrified the people. A huge wall was built between Fehring and Kapfenstein to prevent the Kurucs from continuing their mischief. The wall was insurmountable and the Kuruzzen left - the name remained.

The Location
...the Kuruzzenkogel (425m above sea level) is the local mountain of Fehring and always worth a visit, here in a wonderful location with a beautiful view is our down-to-earth family business. The view from the terrace to Kapfenstein Castle is impressive and the warm summer nights are very romantic and cozy. Our indoor area is also a great place to meet friends, celebrate parties and book the ideal rooms for large groups in a pleasant atmosphere.

...everything is homemade, of the best quality and tastes delicious. Let the meat specialties, raw ham, spreads, salads and many other delicacies melt in your mouth, or have you already tried our “pleasure plate”? Our pastries are a real treat, the homemade rusks, the almond cookies and our fruit spreads are not to be missed either!

Chef Silvia “watches over” her kitchen, the garden and the restaurant with great flair and joy. Every single person in the business has their own job and works with love and dedication.
