At the Schwalbenhof
Bad Blumau
Diverse showcase garden near Bad Blumau – Experience inspiration and garden design.
The demonstration garden “Am Schwalbenhof” in Bad Blumau is a special place for everyone interested in garden design, plant diversity, and lovingly created green spaces. Since 2015, Wolfgang Seidl and Kerstin Teubl have developed the area step by step from an open space to a diverse garden with different sections.
Today, the demonstration garden encompasses a great variety of perennials, shrubs, and garden spaces that are harmoniously coordinated. A traditionally designed cottage garden is also part of the facility and is partially used for personal needs. Visitors gain insights into the design, care, and development of the garden and can gather inspiration for their own gardens.
The demonstration garden “Am Schwalbenhof” is part of a network of selected demonstration gardens across Styria and has been officially recognized for this. In addition to individual visitors, groups and professionally guided tours have also been welcomed here. The garden is open only on selected dates, which are announced in advance. A visit can be ideally combined with a stay in the region around Bad Blumau in the Thermen- & Vulkanland.
