AWZ Fürstenfeld

The Waste Management Center (AWZ) Fürstenfeld is available for the citizens of the city Fürstenfeld and the neighboring municipality Loipersdorf for proper waste disposal. In addition to the classic garbage collection and the separate collection of recyclable materials, the center offers a central point of contact for collection, sorting, and disposal processes.

The jointly used collection and sorting center is located on a approximately 15,000 square meter area on the L 207 (bypass Fürstenfeld from the B 319 towards Loipersdorf). The facility is designed to meet the requirements of several municipalities, enabling a structured and efficient operation. Through joint use, processes are consolidated and organized economically, benefiting both the participating municipalities and the population.

In addition to the disposal infrastructure, a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 80 kW is installed on the rooftops of the center. The system serves the self-supply of the site and supports the ongoing operation of the facility.
