Krampus run in Fürstenfeld

Eerie-beautiful spectacle: Numerous Krampuses from all over Austria are visiting the spa capital Fürstenfeld again.
On Saturday, November 21, 2026, Fürstenfeld will once again transform into a stronghold of tradition: The large Krampus run will bring dark figures and thrilling show effects to the city center starting at 6 p.m. Over 30 groups from all over Austria with around 400 Krampuses and Perchten will create goosebumps and excitement for young and old.
The running route leads from Augustinerplatz through Bismarckstraße and Hauptstraße to Stadt Zug Platz. Unlike many other events of this kind, the run is NOT fenced off, offering visitors a particularly close and intense experience. Refreshment stands along the running route will ensure everyone's well-being.
Admission is free, and as in previous years, thousands of visitors are expected to enjoy the spectacle in a pre-Christmas atmosphere.
