The solo piece, based on over 400 letters and postcards, celebrated international successes (including in New York, Tokyo, and Sydney) and was on display at the Klimt Villa for the 100th anniversary of Gustav Klimt's death (1862-1918). Emilie Flöge (1874-1952) was the partner and muse of the famous artist. She worked as an independent designer and ran a successful fashion salon in Vienna. At the center of the piece is the intense, lifelong connection of the two most dazzling figures of the Vienna Modernism.
