18 artists illuminate the animal between wild "BEAST" and aesthetic "BEAUTY".

Images, sculptures, drawings, and photographs tell of the long history of the human-animal relationship and remind us of the Earth as a shared habitat, which is now primarily ecologically threatened. Subtle, visually powerful, ironic, and critical, the exhibition at the Kunsthalle Feldbach presents the animal as a timeless artistic motif, as a counter-world to human rationality, and as a projection surface for fears, dreams, and longings. The exhibition is based on the namesake show at Stift Millstatt (June-October 2026) and was made possible in cooperation with the millstART association.
