The Long Night of Museums invites visitors to the Murtal once again – seven museums are opening their doors and offering a colorful and varied program. From glittering stone worlds to the secrets of aviation and nostalgia on the Haflinger tour, visitors to the Murtal can look forward to a colorful program.
Museum Murtal – Archaeology of the Judenburg Region
At 7:30 p.m., young museum visitors can enjoy a flashlight tour for children, and at 9:30 p.m., museum enthusiasts can learn about old and new discoveries from the Murau-Murtal archaeological region.
Don't miss the special exhibition accompanying Ötzi to the Princess of Falkenberg.
Citymuseum Judenburg
Ongoing museum tours through the museum's extensive collection await you. You will also find a brand new special exhibition on World War II here.
Puch Museum Judenburg
Experience the fascination of Puch up close. A special highlight of the Long Night of Museums are the regular city tours in the Puch Haflinger.
Fohnsdorf Mining Museum
Discover historical insights into the extensive world of what was once the deepest anthracite mining and follow in the footsteps of
Gemstones Krampl Weißkirchen
Take a look behind the scenes of the gemstone cutting workshop and be enchanted by the sparkle and glitter of the gemstones. Children can go on an exciting treasure hunt during the Long Night of Museums and will be rewarded with a treasure.
Oberzeiring Show Mine
During a guided tour of the exhibition mine, you will enter the interior of the mountain where miners once extracted silver. Listen to the exciting stories.
New!!! - Military Aviation Museum Zeltweg
The Military Aviation Museum in Zeltweg opens its doors for the Long Night of Museums. Join us at 6:30 p.m. for a family-friendly tour of the museum, followed by exciting overview tours at 8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
regional ticket
The regional ticket costs €7 and is valid for all participating institutions in the region, where it can also be purchased. Admission is free for children under 12.
