Winter adrenaline kicks for all occasions

In spring 2026, hundreds of thousands of people around the world will once again run for a common goal: finding a cure for spinal cord injury. On May 10, the Red Bull Ring will host an App Run event for the third time. Spielberg offers all running enthusiasts the special experience of doing good on the same track where the world's elite Formula 1 and MotoGP motor sports teams compete. It's just more fun together

Next year, the Red Bull Ring will once again offer the opportunity to do good while running at an App Run event and be part of the Wings for Life World Run community. Whether you're a beginner, a pro, or a wheelchair user, everyone is a finisher and makes an important contribution to finding a cure for paraplegia. The race starts directly on the start-finish straight and then continues around the Grand Prix area in the heart of Styria until all participants are caught by the virtual Catcher Car.

Running against the Catcher Car and for a good cause.

The participation fee will go entirely to spinal cord research. All participants are connected to the global starting field via the Wings for Life World Run app, and their results are included in the global ranking. The virtual Catcher Car starts chasing 30 minutes after the start and speeds up every half hour until it reaches its maximum speed of 34 km/h. Several refreshment stations will provide support to the heroes of the Wings for Life World Run App Run Event at the Red Bull Ring in 2026 as they battle against the Catcher Car.
