The 2026 motorsports summer at the Red Bull Ring kicks off from April 24 to 26 with the DTM. In addition to a full schedule of racing action and a supporting program for the whole family, spectators will once again be cheering on top Austrian drivers as they battle for the lead. Both Austro-Heroes remain loyal to their car brands: Lucas Auer relies on his Mercedes-AMG GT3, and Thomas Preining tames a Porsche 911 GT3 R. The signs are looking great for the season opener

Even though Lucas Auer is considered Austria’s all-time leading winner in the DTM, it wasn’t until last season that he finally found his groove at the Red Bull Ring. With his first podium finish on home soil, the omens are excellent for the championship opener at Spielberg. Thomas Preining even knows what it feels like to win a DTM race at home, and fans can look forward to seeing what the red-white-red duo has in store for them in the Murtal region at the end of April!

DTM DNA: Top-notch racing for the whole family

Spectacular GT3 race cars from eight manufacturers with iconic names like Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG, McLaren, and Porsche are sure to give motorsport fans goosebumps. At the start of the season, the Manthey Porsche Team and the Red Bull Ring are offering an extraordinary experience. An exclusive hospitality area on the inside of the track near Turn 9 guarantees a perfect view of the pit lane entrance and the T10 finish line.
