Quer durch das Hinterbergertal verläuft die Route über den sonnseitigen Höhenweg, von Kainisch/Radling über Knoppen, Obersdorf, Singerhauserhütte, über die Simonywarte und Brentenmöser-Alm bis zur Bergeralm und weiter nach Tauplitz.
Entlang der Strecke vermitteln Infotafeln Informationen zu Natur, Kultur und Geschichte des Tales.

Der Ausgangspunkt Lenzbaueralm ist über die Salzkammergut Bundesstraße B 145 Ausfahrt Kainisch und weiter über den Radlingpass (Richtung Bad Aussee) erreichbar. Am höchsten Punkt am Radlingpass dem Hinweisschild Lenzbauernalm folgen.
The Hinterberger Panorama Trail starts at the 1st information board at the Lenzbauernalm.
You hike along forest roads and over meadow and forest paths to the 2nd information board Bauernhalt. Slightly uphill you follow the hiking trail across the Mischenir meadow and through forest and meadows again slightly downhill to the 3rd information board Singerhauserhütte. From here the relatively flat hiking trail leads to just before the center of Bad Mitterndorf, from here follow the signs to the 4th information board Simonywarte. After a short descent, hike steadily uphill through the forest to the Brentenmöser-Alm and via the Bergeralm downhill again to the 5th information board Furtberg. From here the asphalt side road leads to the center of Tauplitz.
Gastronomiebetriebe entlang der Strecke laden zum Rasten und Verweilen ein.
Bei der Lenzbaueralm stehen nur begrenzt Parkmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung. Am Radlingpass gibt es zusätzliche Parkmöglichkeiten.
