Bergbeben Mountain Festival at Loser

Ready for a summer day full of music and movement at the mountain of the four seasons: During the Mountain Quake at the local mountain Loser, the distinctive hometown mountain of Altaussee in Ausseerland Salzkammergut transforms into a meeting point for music and movement in the mountains. A diverse experience program awaits with many guided tours for adults and children, as well as an ongoing live music program from hut to hut.
Mountain Quake at Loser: Alpine Stage for Music, Sports, and Encounters
On the Altausseer local mountain Loser, the premiere of "Mountain Quake" takes place on this summer day! Throughout the day, the mountain will vibrate with a diverse experience program between lake Augstsee, Loseralm, Loserhütte, Stellenkogelhütte, and Loser Summit:
Around the Loser guided hikes, body workouts, and climbing tours for young and old take place. With the mountain carts, there is exhilarating fun riding down to the valley, and mountain bikers can enjoy the MTB trails .
The Mountain Quake is complemented by a continuous live music program at the huts on Loser mountain. From traditional brass music to the DJ wind-down in the evening, visitors can expect a varied musical experience in the stunning mountain scenery of the Ausseerland Salzkammergut.
The traditional opening act is made by the Hopfenblütenteemusi and the Salettlmusi, before the Wüdaramusi provides the first big highlight at noon on the Loseralm. In the afternoon, Her & the moon will make the Loserhütte resonate, before DJ Gerry wraps up the day starting at 6:30 p.m. at the AlpenTenn – from the early morning pint until sunset over the Ausseerland.

- The Loser, as an event venue from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., will transform into an alpine stage for music, sports, and encounters on August 22, 2026.
- On this day, the Loser Panoramabahn will be in operation from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Loser Arena with the valley station of the Loser Panoramabahn is located four kilometers from the town center of Altaussee. Directly in the Loser Arena, there is a large free parking lot.
Due to the extended operating hours of the Loser Panoramabahn, the Panoramastraße will be open on August 22, 2026 only from 7:00 p.m. onwards.
The Loser Panoramabahn operates from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
