The hut is located directly on the long-distance hiking trail 201, coming from the mountain pasture Blaa Alm in the valley of Altaussee. Whether after an ascent from the valley or as a well-deserved stop after one of the hikes on mountain Loser: The hiking day can start here at high altitude with a lovingly prepared breakfast or gently conclude after a hiking day in Ausseerland Salzkammrgut. The intermediate station of the Loser Panoramabahn cable car can be reached in 15 minutes on foot during summer, bringing guests comfortably up to the mountain and back down to the valley.

In the winter, the hut is directly on the ski run underneath the intermediate station of the cable car Loser Panoramabahn, and is one of the favorite spots for many winter sports enthusiasts. Nothing stands in the way of a festive break with mountain charm. Enjoy the sun once more with a drink on the terrace and recharge with one of the lovingly prepared dishes for the descent into the valley towards the Loser Skiarena.
