The Loser Panorama via ferrata "SISI", opened in June 2007, bears the epithet in honor of Empress Elisabeth, who is said to have climbed the Loser under her own power.

The Loser Panorama Via Ferrata “SISI” is a 400-meter-long, difficult via ferrata (difficulty level D) with breathtaking views of Lake Altaussee and the Dachstein massif. Ideal for experienced via ferrata climbers, it offers exposed passages, continuous rope safety and an unforgettable climbing experience in the Ausseerland region for experienced climbers.

Parking at the Augstalm parking lot. Please note the toll charge!
The approach to the wall starts at the parking lot Augstalm (turn 11) of the Loser-Panoramastraße, which you follow for a short distance. About 200 meters after the turn left to the avalanche protection dams climb and left of the dams on a small ridge into the scree and laboriously follow the climbing tracks to the foot of the wall. Keep left to the entrance.

The way back is from the summit cross via the normal path to the Loserhütte or back to the Loseralm. After a leisurely stop for refreshments, the route can be continued to the starting point.

There is a continuous steel rope along the climb. Before the key passage there is an emergency exit. In wet conditions, the grassy passages are somewhat tricky.
