Our accommodation is located in a quiet, nature-friendly region – ideal for those seeking relaxation and wanting to explore Southeast Styria. Whether on foot, by bike, or by car: the surroundings offer numerous opportunities for excursions, such as the famous wine routes or the popular spa towns in the region.
In the immediate vicinity, you will find several supermarkets and restaurants, including the Pizzeria Heuboden, the Gasthaus Summer, and the Ottersbachmühle – all accessible by car in less than 10 minutes. For a cozy end to the day, numerous typical Buschenschänken, such as Buschenschank Dunkl and Pechmann’s old oil mill, invite you to unwind.
Popular destinations like the Murturm, the ship mill, the Zotter chocolate factory, or the Riegersburg are easily reachable by car. Swimming and leisure options such as the St. Peter swimming pool, the Röcksee, or the Mureck adventure pool are also nearby.
The nearest towns – Mureck, Bad Radkersburg, Feldbach, Leibnitz, Maribor (Slovenia), Graz, and Zagreb (Croatia) – as well as the state capital Graz are easily accessible. The airports Graz and Maribor are about 40–45 minutes away, while Vienna can be reached in about 2.5 hours.

A special treat for music lovers: During your stay, you have the opportunity to explore and purchase selected items from my online shop’s collection of audio media, including vinyl records, CDs, and cassette tapes. You can buy them directly on-site—no online purchase is required.
I am always available to answer your questions and happy to provide tips for excursions, hiking, or cycling routes in the area. It is important to me that every guest feels welcome—whether passing through, on vacation, or here for business.
