RETTER BioGut

The BioGut Retter is the cradle of the Hirschbirn and is situated amidst the organic orchards of the Retter family. In the energy-optimized building with DISTILLERY, BAKERY, HERB SHOP, and ICE CREAM PARLOR, organic fruits are refined into fine fruit spreads, ice cream, syrups, teas, and distillates. In the BAKERY, fresh pastries and organic breads are baked daily for the guests of the Bio Natur Resort Retter according to old recipes.

The own organic products and other regional organic specialties can be tasted, purchased, and enjoyed in the RETTEREI with an attached bar. From the adjoining nature park terrace, there is a magnificent view of the Eastern Styria rolling hills.

Visitors and hotel guests have the opportunity to participate in regular guided tours on Monday, Friday, and Saturday at BioGut, as well as tastings and the regularly held courses on sustainable living. Outside of opening hours, guided tours are always possible upon request for groups of 10 or more. For exclusive evening events, the entire building and its well-equipped gastronomy is available for up to 120 people upon reservation.
