Hike from Laafeld to Cankova - In the footsteps of August Pavel.
The Pavelhaus in Laafeld and the Avgust Pavel Cultural Association in Cankova are named after the linguist Avgust Pavel (1886-1946), who was born in Cankova and whose parents lived in Laafeld for 20 years. On the occasion of the commemorative year, the associations invite you to a hike from Laafeld to Cankova and back.
At 10.00 a.m. the start will be at the Pavelhaus, then follows an approximately 4.5 km easy walk.
Arrival in Cankova is around 11.30 a.m.
There will be food and drinks provided.
Afterwards, there will be a cultural program with music and at 2.00 p.m. we will hike back.
