The band Gitan Esprit brings the fascinating world of Swing Manouche to Fehring. The music style, also known as Gypsy Jazz or Sinti Jazz, emerged in France during the 1930s and 1940s and combines the temperament of the Roma and Sinti with French musette and chanson as well as the sounds of American swing. Inspired by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, the audience can expect a concert full of virtuosity, joy of playing, and captivating improvisations.
