Khünegger landleb'n
A traditional festival featuring literature, authentic folk music, and down-to-earth culinary delights.
For over 25 years, the "Khünegger Landleb'n" has celebrated culture, tradition, and culinary delights in memory of the local poet Fred Strohmeier.
Under the motto "Feeling the Wealth of Poverty," visitors can expect folk music, theater, literature, and delicacies from grandmother's kitchen. Readings under the pear tree, atmospheric music, and regional treats make the festival a special experience.
The day begins with a hike along Strohmeier's school path and a memorial mass in the courtyard of the Strohmeier family. Music will be provided by, among others, the Orig. fidelen Neujorgeiger, the AltBadSeer Musi, and Stawiz. The literary program will be shaped by Sepp Loibner, Karl Oswald, and Elfi Groß. This year, the play "Da Dorf-Gendarm" by Franz Gombocz will be performed on stage.
The festival is organized by the Volunteer Fire Brigade Khünegg with around 60 volunteers - an event you shouldn't miss!
