Markus Hirtler worked for over 20 years as a nurse, head of nursing services, home manager, and social manager. He created the character Ermi-Oma to raise his voice for those who are not easily heard in our "society of elder disposal."
In doing so, the award-winning cabaret artist lovingly, multifacetedly, and with great empathy portrays the nursing home resident.
