The tunnel view - of helicopters, memories, and a lot of language.

In reference to the planned opening of the Koralmtunnel in 2026, the Pavelhaus is designing the exhibition "The Tunnel View - Memories from Helicopters and Much Language," in which artists from both regions of Styria and Carinthia engage in an artistic discourse about the new connection between the two federal states. At the same time, the question will be explored regarding what historical and cultural connections exist between the two federal states and which memory gaps still remain. Together with the Graz Initiative for Peace and Neutrality (GIFFUN) and the Nagasaki-Brescia Kaki Tree Project for Europe, a Kaki tree will be planted as a symbol of peace in the garden of the Pavelhaus.
