Contemporary art opens new perspectives on body, society, and identity.
The DIALOGUE FIELD HUMAN explores the relationship between Body, Society, and Identity. The exhibition in Fehring shows how artists question societal norms, subvert expectations, and express resistance through protest, provocation, subversion, or conscious refusal. The focus is on the engagement with the socially shaped body in an age of media omnipresence.
Featured are works by Günter Brus, Andrea Cusumano, Josef Danner, Loys Egg, VALIE EXPORT, Hermann Nitsch, Kata Oelschlägel, Carolee Schneemann, Rudolf Schwarzkogler, Annegret Soltau, Zsuzsanna Szula, Monika Supé, TOMAK, and Josef Wurm.
