When the historical town center of Bad Gleichenberg is bathed in warm light, a very special time begins. As a charming addition to the Biedermeier Festival, the Advent market invites visitors to rediscover the magic of past Christmases. Amidst candlelight, torches, and Christmas music, moments of tranquility, warmth, and kindness are created.

Advent market on the Advent Sundays

Lovingly decorated Advent huts, high-quality handicrafts, regional delicacies, and handcrafted specialties make the Bad Gleichenberg Christmas village a place of encounter. Far away from the hustle and bustle, the original nature of the celebration takes center stage.

On Saturday, November 28 at 4:30 p.m., a festive opening of the Advent season will take place at the main square with the blessing of the Advent wreath and a word service (no Advent market yet).
