This easy hike around Lake Ödensee is a real nature experience and ideal for a relaxing walk. The route leads along well-maintained gravel and forest paths and is particularly suitable for families with children. The idyllic Ödensee lake, nestled in the breathtaking landscape of Ausseerland, invites you to enjoy a leisurely circular hike.
From the Ödensee parking lot, the trail initially follows a gravel path along the lakeshore towards the Genuss Gasthaus Kohlröserlhütte. From here, a near-natural forest and root path continues through unspoiled nature. The rustling of the trees, the chirping of the birds and the glistening waters of the lake create a unique atmosphere of relaxation.
Along the way, there are always fantastic photo spots with views of the lake and the surrounding mountain landscape. The reflections of the Totes Gebirge in the crystal-clear water are particularly impressive.
The last section is again on a gravel path and leads past a playground, which is perfect for a break with children. At the end of the tour, the Genuss Gasthaus Kohlröserlhütte invites you to take a leisurely break with regional delicacies.
