Winter hiking trail in the village of Tauplitz

Wanderung durch die herrliche Winterlandschaft in Tauplitz.
The hike starts in the center of the village and leads along the "Freiberg Weg" back to the starting point.

The hike begins at the village square in Tauplitz. From there you walk along the road in an easterly direction. Cross the bypass road and then continue straight ahead on the road in the direction of Gnanitzalm. After about two kilometers, turn left into the "Freiberg Weg" and return to the starting point.
If you prefer, you can also continue to follow the road in the direction of the Gnanitzalm and after about 20 minutes walk you will come to the waterfall on the right (only accessible when there is little snow) and to the Sagtümpel on the left.
There are plenty of free parking spaces at the
entrance to Tauplitz.
From the parking lot turn left and hike up towards the church. A little above you will find the starting point of the hike.

What the weather will be like
Bad Mitterndorf (800m)
Frequent snowfall. A slight chance of sunshine in the afternoon.
At first snow showers, then a long dry period, and finally light rain.
