This tour can of course also be tackled from Bad Aussee. Approach via St. Leonhard to Grubenstraße, there turn right on the gravel road to Weißenbachalm.

From Grundlsee you go in direction to Bad Aussee and turn at the first crossing into direction of Kainisch. After a while a forest road leads you all the way to the mountain pasture "Weißenbachalm".
Chargeable parking is available right next to the Grundlsee information office.
