Welcome and good fortune is the greeting at this snack station, which combines Styrian hospitality with Erzgebirge coziness.

Both the Obersdorfer Circular Hiking Trail and the Cycling Route R19 pass directly by the Eselalm, ideal for a break in between. At the snack station, you can enjoy regional home cooking, good beer, and a family-friendly atmosphere - children's playground and donkeys included. The Museum Alm is also worth seeing, an original Styrian lumberjack cabin from the year 1896.

In winter, the cross-country ski trail is in close proximity to the Eselalm. The cozy dining area with a wood stove provides comfort even on colder days. A perfect stop in the midst of the beautiful Ausseerland Salzkammergut with a perfect view of the Bad Mitterndorf local mountain Grimming.
