Both the Obersdorfer Circular Trail and the Radtour R19 pass directly by the Eselalm, ideal for a break in between. At the snack station, one enjoys regional home-style cooking, good beer, and a family-friendly atmosphere - playground and donkeys included. Also worth seeing is the Museumsalm, an original Styrian lumberjack hut from the year 1896.

In winter, the cross-country ski trail is in immediate proximity to the Eselalm. The rustic dining area with a wood stove ensures coziness even on colder days. A perfect break destination amidst the beautiful Ausseerland Salzkammergut with a perfect view of the Bad Mitterndorf local mountain Grimming.
