The correspondence between Stefan Zweig and Felix Braun offers a fascinating glimpse into the literary and intellectual life of their time. Selected letters bring to life friendship, artistic exchange, and the challenges of a tumultuous era. Hubert Gaisbauer, Adelheid Picha, and Johannes Daxner give voices to the texts, while Anna Mittermeier musically accompanies and enriches the evening on the double bass.
The poet Felix Braun, who found a second home at Grundlsee, engaged in a spiritual dialogue for decades with the restless cosmopolitan Stefan Zweig. Recently, the extensive correspondence from this lifelong friendship has been published.
