In 2027, the youngest cross-country skiers will again be in the spotlight at the Steiralauf! For the 12th time, the popular KIDS-RACE will take place, kicking off the Steiralauf weekend on Friday afternoon.

In this established race, bambinis, children, and students can demonstrate their skills and get a taste of racing. The children will be the center of attention and can look forward to an exciting and varied afternoon.

The KIDS-Race takes place in Bad Mitterndorf in the Ausseerland and offers young participants a dreamy winter landscape for their sports endeavors.

A special component of the KIDS-Race is the joint warm-up before the competition. Before heading to the course, participants warm up together, and the anticipation for the race increases. At 3:00 p.m., the starting signal for the KIDS-Race will sound and the young participants can demonstrate their skills in the race.

A diverse supporting program ensures additional entertainment around the race. The start and finish area is located near the GrimmingTherme. There, there is ski and wax service from HWK and Toko, as well as information booths from Fischer Sports and Grimming Sport.

After the race, the young participants will be celebrated appropriately during the award ceremony at the Theater of the GrimmingTherme. The sporting conclusion of the afternoon is the Löffler Community XC-Run at 6:00 p.m.
