The freshly prepared hot sausages from the kettle are traditionally served with mustard, horseradish, and fresh bread. Of course, this Friday there will also be the usual selection from the Jausenhütte Bärnmoos: With board snacks, topped breads and the homemade pastries made by Monika, from farmer's doughnuts to strudel, no culinary wishes will remain unfulfilled.
The cozy snack hut between Altaussee and Bad Aussee invites you to enjoy a leisurely hiking break in its tranquil location with a wonderful view of the idyllic Bärnmoos.

The Jausenhütte Bärnmoos can be reached on foot or by bicycle from Bad Aussee, Altaussee, or Grundlsee.
The recommended hiking trail to Bärnmoos starts from the center of Bad Aussee, passing through the picturesque Himmelsleiter, a narrow staircase path, up to Obertressen and over the viewpoint Dachsteinblick.
With the shortest route variant, there are parking spaces on the Bad Aussee side at several points from which the snack station can be reached in about 25 minutes of hiking - local signage should be observed.
