An Austria–Ukraine cultural project is entering its final phase for now. Numerous individuals, including fantastic artists, were part of this event, which was held under the motto “Respect, Tolerance, Recognition”. A historical excursion about Bukovina, a model region in Europe.
Personal impressions and experiences of traveling to Ukraine are the focus of this evening. Jörg Hoffmann, Johannes Daxner, Hans Fuchs, Vitali Bodnar, Herbert Riess, and Adelheid Picha will share encounters, experiences, and the challenges of a country in transition. In conversation with Prof. Peter Rychlo from the University of Chernivtsi, cultural and societal perspectives will also be highlighted. A contribution from Hubert Gaisbauer as well as musical accompaniment on the piano by Johannes Daxner will complement the program and create space for exchange, understanding, and reflection.
