Franz Schuh in conversation with Markus Kupferblum

In the Gabillonhaus in Grundlsee, the writer and essayist Franz Schuh meets the director, author, and cultural mediator Markus Kupferblum for an inspiring conversation about literature, society, and current events. The evening will be musically accompanied by the pianist Suyang Kim, who sets special accents with her piano contributions and frames the dialogue atmospherically.
Franz Schuh, born 1947 in Vienna, studied philosophy, history, and German studies and lives as a writer, columnist, and critic in Vienna. He has published numerous books for which he has received many awards. Schuh is considered one of the last essayists who dissect society in the sharp-tongued tradition of Karl Kraus or Elias Canetti. He teaches at the University of Applied Arts.
Since his youth, Franz Schuh has been adventurous and curious about the world. He has always been interested in words, which he shapes into polished sentences. On Ö1, listen to: "The Magazine of Happiness." Recently published essays under the title "Don't Stick Your Head in the Sand."
The evening at the Gabillonhaus in Grundlsee will be accompanied by pianist Suyang Kim. Suyang Kim, born in Kyoungu/South Korea, lives in Linz. She performs as a concert pianist both nationally and internationally.
