Franz Schuh in conversation with Markus Kupferblum
In the Gabillonhaus in Grundlsee, the writer and essayist Franz Schuh meets the director, author, and cultural mediator Markus Kupferblum for an inspiring conversation about literature, society, and current events. The evening will be musically accompanied by the pianist Suyang Kim, who sets special accents with her piano contributions and frames the dialogue atmospherically.
Franz Schuh, born in 1947 in Vienna, studied philosophy, history, and German studies and lives as a writer, columnist, and critic in Vienna. Schuh is considered one of the last essayists who dissects society in the sharp-tongued tradition of Karl Kraus or Elias Canetti. He teaches at the University of Applied Arts.
Since his youth, Franz Schuh has been fond of traveling and curious about the world. He has always been interested in words, which he shapes into polished sentences. On Ö1 you can hear: "The Magazine of Happiness." Recently, essays titled "Don't Stick Your Head in the Sand" have been published.
The evening will be accompanied by pianist Suyang Kim.
Suyang Kim, born in Kyoungu/South Korea, lives in Linz. She performs as a concert pianist nationally and internationally.
