The 80s Beach Party Open Air takes place for the first time on the shores of Grundlsee and offers a varied program in the style of the 1980s. Visitors can expect a diverse range of entertainment for the whole family, as well as a live concert by the band 7 for 80s against the special backdrop of Grundlsee.
80s Beach Party Open Air celebrates its premiere at Grundlsee!
On Saturday, August 1, 2026, the 80s Beach Party Open Air will take place for the first time on the shores of Grundlsee, in the Community Park. Against the impressive backdrop of lake and mountains, visitors can expect a varied event program for the whole family, all themed around the 1980s .
Starting at 3:00 p.m., a diverse side program around the music pavilion will provide entertainment. The program includes, among other things, a children's program, a paddle boat race in 80s style, an aerobic and hula hoop session, a look-alike contest, a competition, and a car exhibition featuring automobiles from the 1980s. Special attractions include the cult vehicle KITT from the TV series Knight Rider and the red Ferrari from Magnum P.I..
The musical highlight will be the concert of the band 7 for 80s, starting at 8:15 p.m. With well-known hits and theme tunes from the 1980s, accompanied by special guests and a large video show, the band promises an atmospheric open-air experience.
Food and drinks will be available throughout the entire event. In addition, Schifffahrt Grundlsee offers a themed transfer to the event.
The premiere of the 80s Beach Party Open Air will establish a new summer event format that expands the cultural offerings in the Ausseerland and captures the spirit of the 1980s .

Every guest receives a 7for80s glow-in-the-dark wristband, which is activated on command by the band at dusk. This creates an impressive sea of lights, and the atmosphere becomes even more intense.
