For example, the Augstbach theme trail starts right near the holiday home. Easily walkable along the Augstbach, it can be explored by both bicycle and a leisurely walk, making it ideal for families and suitable for both young and old. Water – salt – culture: Along the Augstbach theme trail, you can also add the theme trails Via Salis – Hiking on the trails of salt, and Via Artis – Following the trails of renowned artists. From the stream to the lake: the boat dock at lake Altaussee can also be reached in a 10-minute walk from the accommodation. Of course, the local mountain Loser, located directly in Altaussee, is also quickly accessible. Tanks to its panoramic gondola, mountain Loser is not only a focal point in winter as a ski area and for fast sledders, but now also brings walkers and hikers quickly and comfortably to heights and many hiking routes in summer. This way, even people with limited mobility can experience the view from above of the beautiful surroundings. The "Salzwelten Altaussee" at the Altaussee salt mine are also always worth a visit, where both young and old can follow the traces of salt.
