The family-run Hotel Hierzegger is located in the middle of the Tauplitzalm
The hotel is surrounded by mountains, oxygen-rich air, and the purest drinking water. It is a place that invites you to stroll, hike, and climb. Via ferratas and mountain tours await to be conquered, while motorcyclists can explore the freedom of the surroundings.
Snow-secure slopes provide perfect conditions for skiing and cross-country skiing enthusiasts, as well as for winter hiking and snowshoe adventures.
The rooms have been renovated in recent years and are equipped with solid wood furniture. The south-facing rooms feature a balcony.
You will be pampered culinary-wise in the hotel restaurant or on the adjacent sun terrace. A good traditional cuisine is offered, as well as regional and international specialties.
For relaxation, there is a Finnish sauna and a bio-herb sauna, as well as an infrared cabin and a relaxation room with panoramic views.
The cozy bar invites you to socialize, and in the rooms, pleasant comfort meets a special living atmosphere.

- Half board can be booked directly on site for 17.00 euros (20.00 euros from summer 2026) per person per night.
- Pets are only allowed in the double room "Sonnenseite".
With the hotel's own shuttle train, you can enjoy a panoramic ride to the most beautiful viewpoints on the Tauplitzalm.
