Just off the town center of Altaussee, in a quiet and idyllic location, you will find the Haus Dachsteinblick. As the name suggests, our guests can expect a beautiful view of the Dachstein Glacier and the impressive mountain scenery of the Ausseerland Salzkammergut.
For a relaxing stay, three double rooms, a single room, and a cozy holiday apartment are available. Whether a vacation for two, with family, or a stay with friends – the Haus Dachsteinblick provides a pleasant base to explore the beauty of the region.
Horse lovers are also warmly welcomed: The brought horses can be accommodated directly at the farm in the stable. For our little guests, there is also a petting zoo that ensures special holiday moments and animal encounters.
Whether on a walk around the Altausseer See, on a hike to the Loser or the Trisselwand, or on a leisurely bike tour through the Ausseerland Salzkammergut – nature begins practically at the doorstep. Numerous excursion destinations and attractions in the region invite you to discover the unique diversity of the Salzkammergut.
For gourmets, the surroundings also offer a lot: Traditional inns, regional specialties, and the charming towns of Altaussee, Bad Aussee, Grundlsee, Bad Mitterndorf and Tauplitz provide authentic holiday moments.
In winter, the region transforms into a snowy mountain landscape and offers opportunities for skiing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, and snowshoe hiking.
