Ideal trail for beginners and advanced skiers at the foot of the Loser in a unique landscape.

It is one of the most beautiful and snow-sure trails in the Ausseerland region. Thanks to its higher altitude, you can ski here early and late in the season, making it perfect for an active winter holiday.

The tour starts at the Blaa Alm, leads down to the Rettenbachalm, and continues to the Rettenbachwiese. It passes through a small forest before returning to the Blaa Alm, It’s best to start on the right-hand side of the trail.

The trail is perfectly groomed for both classic and skating styles. Challenging sections alternate with smooth, flowing passages, making this route attractive for sporty cross-country skiers as well as for leisure skiers who want to enjoy the stunning nature of the Ausseerland while gliding through the snow.

Start over meadows until the ascent to the Klauseck, then you already reach the Blaa Alm. You enjoy the circuit on the large Blaa Alm meadow. Sporty ones drive off to the Rettenbachalm, then the bend on the large Rettenbach meadow back again, through a short piece of forest to the ascent, past the "Helm monument" back up to the Blaa-Alm and along the Augstbach (one-way) back to the starting point.
The tour can be combined with the extension to the Rettenbach valley.
