A beautiful circular trail with a direct view to the Grimming.

On the partly asphalted side roads from Krungl to Bad Mitterndorf you will find quite a few beautiful paths. This is one of them.

The journey to Krungl is best planned with google.at/maps.
Free parking is available directly in Krungl.

Starting point is the center of Krungl. Here follow trail no. 2 in a westerly direction. After about 700 meters turn left. Here it goes a little uphill. At the next fork, turn right onto the gravel path. Arrived at the houses turn left. Cross the crossroads straight on and then follow the gravelled road. Pass some houses in the direction of Krunglbach. There then turn left along the Krunglbach back to the starting point.

Proper backpacking makes many things easier:

pack heavy things first.
The water bottle should always be within easy reach in a side pocket.
All things that are often needed, such as sunglasses, camera or hiking map, belong on top.
An emergency kit including blister plaster belongs in every backpack and a clothing according to the "onion system" is always recommended!

At the hotel and restaurant "Landhotel Kanzler" you will find a nice place to rest and eat or drink something.
