The journey to Tauplitz to the valley station is best planned with google.at/maps.

You can get to Tauplitzalm from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll)

The snow hike is started at the mountain station of the 4-seater chairlift or at the parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. The hike heads east in the direction of the Steirersee, past the Steirerseebankerl and on to the Steirersee huts.

Along the Steirersee it goes on to the Schwarzensee and to the Leistalmhütten. From here the trail climbs to the Rosskogel. Once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded for your efforts with a wonderful panoramic view. The way back is the same.

The tour can be started from the parking lot on the Tauplitzalm or from the top station of the 4-seater chairlift.

There are plenty of free parking spaces available in Tauplitz and on the Tauplitzalm.
