The route runs along a well-signposted, continuously developed and easily walkable path without major differences in altitude. Numerous stations explain what makes this region so special.

The Obersdorf circular trail (Geo Trail) begins in Bad Mitterndorf at Haus Trinkl at the western entrance to Bad Mitterndorf. From the district Rödschitz Reith the circular trail is identical with the forest trail no. 17 from Bad Mitterndorf to Obersdorf.
Going through Obersdorf, you go around the Kumitzberg (pilgrimage church Maria Kumitz), follow the path further through the underpass at the federal road, and then go along the Obersdorfer Moos to the estate "Pleam".
From there, the Laasenweg trail no. 22 leads back to the starting point at Haus Trinkl.
Along this trail you learn a lot about,

- How the ice age shaped the landscape and is responsible for the formation of the numerous moors
- how the ore from the Hinterberger Teltschenalm was brought to the valley in a laborious way

- what diverse stories the houses in Obersdorf have to tell
- how the valley watershed near Obersdorf separates two river systems.
Free
parking is available at the Grimminghalle. The starting point of the hike is reached in about 10 minutes on foot. You walk past the schools and the municipal office. Shortly after, the hiking trail begins on the right side.

Snowfall again and again. The strongest snowfall will occur around noon.
At first snowfall and occasionally snow mixed with rain. The clouds will break up in the afternoon.
