The Knoppenmoos cross-country ski trail is part of the Salzkammergut cross-country ski trails, which cover more than 200 km.

Across the endless pastures and through the dreamlike natural landscape runs the Knoppenmoos cross-country ski trail with connection to Bad Mitterndorf. In some sections, the classic and skating tracks separate.

The current cross-country trail report can be found on the website of the Ausseerland-Salzkammergut Tourism Association.
There you will also find the prices for the cross-country skiing maps and an overview of the distribution points for Bad Mitterndorf, Tauplitz and the Tauplitzalm.

From the entry point Knoppen (connection Obersdorfloipe) via Knoppenmoos in the direction of Mühlreith.

Operating hours: daily from 08:30 - 17:00

Salzkammergut Shuttle Ausseerland - individual call taxi
On five routes between Sandling and Grimming daily from 07:00 to 22:00 on the road.

Parking is available directly at the entry point at the Jausenstation Stieger.
