The Freiberg cross-country ski trail is part of the Salzkammergut cross-country ski trails, which cover more than 200 km.

It is one of the easier trails, making it ideal for those who want to relax, enjoy nature and take look at the Grimming.

From the start, the trail begins with a gentle ascent to a waterfall, followed by a pleasant downhill section leading back to the starting point.

With its varied and gently rolling terrain, the trail offers a perfect balance of exercise, nature, and scenic views. It provides ideal conditions for both beginners in the classic style and more advanced skaters.

Free parking spaces are available above the "Troadkastl", which is also the startingpoint.

Arrival with the car to the Freiberg cross-country skiing trail in Tauplitz.

After the start, the Freiberg trail leads slightly uphill to the district of Greith. It continues in several loops in the direction of the Tauplitz waterfall and Sagtümpel pond before following the trail slightly downhill to the starting point.

www.busbahnbim.atFrom the bus stop in Tauplitz Ort it is about a 15-minute walk to the cross-country ski trail entrance. From Tauplitz train station to the cross-country ski trail it is about a 30-minute walk.

Parking spaces are available above the "Troadkastl". Right next to it is the entrance to the cross-country ski trail.
