Bike tour: Augstbach theme trail

The varied "Augstbach Theme Trail" is available for hiking or biking.

The tour runs parallel to the Augstbach and along torrent & avalanche structures. The entrance is located in the center of Altaussee. Along the way, 14 exciting and carefully designed stations with display boards, games and other attractions await visitors.

Directions
The tour leads from the parking lot on the left to the intersection at Café Maislinger. Here continue right along the Augstbach in the direction of the Loser Skiarena. After about 500 meters, turn right onto the themed trail. At the beginning it's quite steep uphill! Follow the gravelled path until you reach the Scheiben torrent retention basin. Cross the road and continue along the gravel road until you reach the access road to the Salzwelten Altaussee. Follow this road to the right for a short distance, then turn left onto a forest road and continue on this road to the Loser Ski Arena.

The way back follows the same route!
