This fantastic tour begins in Bad Mitterndorf at the toll booth on the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. Accompanied by magnificent views, the road winds steadily uphill for around ten kilometers.

At the end of the ascent, the high plateau awaits. Here you can park your bike and begin your hike on the largest lake plateau in Central Europe.

The Tauplitzalm offers an extensive network of hiking trails for every taste and fitness level. Whether you prefer a leisurely stroll across flowering alpine meadows or a strenuous climb to the peaks, here you can experience nature in all its diversity.
