Hardly any natural spectacle has such a great attraction as a waterfall. The Tauplitz waterfall is definitely worth a visit.
The path leads from Tauplitz in the direction of Gnanitzalm. Follow this path for about 2.5 kilometers. Then turn right and after a ten-minute walk you will reach the idyllic waterfall. A bench invites you to take a comfortable rest at the 30 meter high waterfall. Let yourself be refreshed by the white spray of the waterfall.
There is also a circular hiking trail from Tauplitz to the waterfall. From the village square Tauplitz you go downhill in the direction of the church. Directly at the church, turn left towards the bypass road. Continue straight on past the small chapel in the direction of the "Leinsteg" and the waterfall. When you reach the Gnanitzstraße, turn left and take the Höhenweg Freiberg back to the village.
Length of the trail: about seven kilometers Walking time: about two hours
The tour is free of charge.
