Teltschenmutter
Bad Mitterndorf
The "Teltschenmutter" is a wasside shrine on the back of the mountain "Kampl".
Behind the Kampl lies the Teltschenalm.
From Bad Mitterndorf it can be reached in a comfortable walk in the direction of Grundlsee. It is also on the tour around the Kampl. On the mountain pasture there is a shrine that was erected on the spot where the Mother of God appeared to a shepherd in the 19th century. Two other apparitions of the Virgin Mary have been recorded in the area of the mountain pasture.
