Slow train and panoramic rides over the lake plateau Tauplitzalm.
The hotel's own Leisure Train is a fun for kids and relaxation for the parents. The ride over the high plateau of the Tauplitzalm is great comfort for those who do not like to walk and a blessing for those who cannot hike for health reasons.
With the Leisure Train, it is possible to visit three of the six mountain lakes. The ride lasts about one hour. On this ride, the entire view of the surrounding mountain world opens up. (Totes Gebirge, Grimming, Dachstein, Stoderzinken, Schladminger Tauern, Gesäuse,...)
Especially fascinating in the months of June to August is the unique variety of flowers.
From mid-June to early/mid-September, the grazing cattle can also be admired.

Scenic train tours from mid-June to mid-September every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:00 AM from the Parking Lot Tauplitzalm, right at Alm In.
Group tours available at any time upon request.
If the Hierzegger family does not have a suitable free date, the Hüttner family also offers scenic train tours over the high plateau.
