Once through Ausseerland - Biking on the BergeSeen eTrai

The sixth section of the BergeSeen eTrail runs through the beautiful Ausseerland region. During the stage from Bad Aussee to Altaussee, it is worth taking a break at many points to marvel and enjoy.

• At the Sarstein forest, bikers experience a panoramic view of Loser, Sandling and the Dachstein glacier.
• When circling Lake Ödensee, a stop at the Kohlröserlhütte is a must.
• A detour to the Steinitzenalm is rewarded with the enjoyment of local delicacies such as sweet doughnuts and a Brettljause.
• Before arriving in Bad Mitterndorf, the wildly romantic Salza reservoir in the nature reserve invites you to take a leisurely break.
• After a refreshing swim in the lake, the bike tour continues from Grundlsee in the direction of Altaussee.

Once you have arrived at the lake, it is difficult to continue the journey. Because the area is a real treat in culinary and historical terms, but also with a view of nature.
