The picturesque Ödernalm mountain pasture is located on the hiking trail from the Tauplitzalm towards Grundlsee, and is one of the most beautiful alpine pastures in the area. Diversity of nature and a varied landscape reward hikers who wish to visit the Ödernalm.

 

The path from the Tauplitzalm to Grundlsee leads through the Öderntörl to Ödernalm. The ghost forest on the right does justice to its name not only at ghost hour. For a break, the Steinbrecherhütte is open in the summer when the weather is good.

How do I get to the Ödernalm mountain pasture?

The Ödernalm can be reached via various hikes. There are several options: Starting from the Tauplitzalm, or via a trail from Bad Mitterndorf or from Grundlsee via the Schneckenalm, the Steinbrecherhütte can be reached on foot. The hike from the Tauplitzalm to the Ödernalm is recommended, where a varied and scenic hike awaits along three stunning mountain lakes .

Visitors can easily reach the starting point of the Tauplitzalm via the Tauplitz 4-seater-chairlift or the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road.

The hike to the Ödernalm can be extended with an ascent or descent to Bad Mitterndorf, or with a detour to the Grundlseeblick.
