A real piece of Ausseerland to wear: At Leithner Hats in Bad Aussee, everything revolves around traditional hat-making craftsmanship and the original Ausseer hat. For centuries, hats have been crafted here with a lot of handwork and a sense for quality – a tradition that dates back to the year 1532.

Whether classic Ausseer hat, traditional hat, hunting hat or music hat – each model combines regional customs with artisanal skill. The hats are made in the own workshop and can be designed partly according to individual preferences.

A visit to Leithner Hats thus offers not only the opportunity to discover a special companion for traditional attire and everyday life but also an insight into a craft that has remained alive in the Ausseerland to this day.
